Public Services and Procurement Canada, in collaboration with Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC), the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) and the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), is hosting an Industry Day in Ottawa on August 23, 2019.
The objectives of this day are to present the scope of the work for the Tri-Agency Grants Management Solution (TGMS) Initiative, its current challenges, and the team’s approach. Industry will also have the opportunity to understand the proposed procurement strategy.
As stated in the Notice of Proposed Procurement (NPP), the Industry Day will inform potential suppliers regarding the proposed procurement of a grants management solution (GMS) on behalf of the Tri-Agencies, the federal granting agencies that support research, research training and innovation in Canadian postsecondary and research institutions.
How to participate
Participation is intended for suppliers as the primary audience. Seating is limited so registration will be done on a first-come, first-serve basis with participation also possible via WebEx.

Services publics et Approvisionnement Canada, en collaboration avec le Conseil de recherches en sciences naturelles et en génie (CRSNG), le Conseil de recherches en sciences humaines (CRSH) et les Instituts de recherche en santé du Canada (IRSC) organisent une « Journée de l’industrie » qui se tiendra à Ottawa le 23 août 2019.
Cette journée a pour but de présenter la portée du travail à réaliser dans le cadre de l’initiative Solution de gestion des subventions des trois organismes (SGSTO), les défis à relever ainsi que l’approche adoptée. Les représentants de l’industrie pourront également se renseigner sur la stratégie d’approvisionnement proposée.
Comme l’indique l’avis de projet de marché, la Journée de l’industrie vise à informer les fournisseurs potentiels de la proposition visant l’acquisition d’une solution de gestion des subventions au nom des trois organismes subventionnaires fédéraux qui appuient la recherche, la formation en recherche et l’innovation dans les établissements d’enseignement postsecondaire et de recherche du Canada.
Comment participer
Le public cible principal est celui des fournisseurs. Comme les places sont limitées, l’inscription se fera selon le principe du premier arrivé, premier servi, et il sera également possible d’y participer par WebEx.
